Nu-jazz, chillout collective Jazzanova releases their Sonar Kollektiv EP, Upside Down.
Having been a fan of the Berlin-based DJ/producer/musician crew for a few years now, which consists of Alex Barck, Axel Reinemer, Claas Brieler, Jürgen von Knoblauch, and Stefan Leisering, I can always count on the guys to bring a sexy yet snazzy set to any musically-inclined atmosphere—which I’ve utilized in a breezy dinner for two and a fun get-together with a few friends.
Upside Down is a laidback remix EP that also brings key music players from Europe to the U.S., like English deep house producer and remixer Atjazz, the equally talented downtempo producer Mr. Scruff, as well as Stuttgart beatmaker Motor City Drum Ensemble.
Formed in 1995, Jazzanova continually delivers their lovely brand of jazzed-out vibes for the masses to absorb.
