THE SEX FILES: From Coast to Coast

KinkThere are two different kinky/porn/sexy happenings happening on opposite coasts, so I figured I’d hip you to both. In one case we have a convention yet again rolling through the area, in the other a place that has seen ‘conventions’(of a sort) roll through, host parties and is the filming hub for a kink capital.

Exxxotica

In New Jersey, at Trump Taj Mahal Casino $ Resort the 2nd NJ Exxxotica convention of the year is rolling through the weekend 4/11-4/13. I have reported from Exxxotica three times in the past (and will of course do so again) but if you are down in Atlantic City (and for lots of people reading S&S NYC you are probably pretty darn close to A.C.) the Exxxotica convention is a one-of-a-kind party.

The convention will see stars like Tayna Tate, Cindy Starfall, Riley Steele (who I have interviewed for us), the affable Ron Jeremy, Seth Gamble and Belle Knox who my guest columnist Belle Noire recently wrote about and is making such a media splash these days (and there are tons of others who will be autographing and taking pictures).

As always there will be performances during the three days, lots of after parties, and an amazing array of product vendors and this year’s “Fanny Awards.” And of course if you are in Atlantic City, why not do some gambling?

Now for what’s going on round down Cali way…

Kink.com

Peter Acworth’s Kink.com ‘castle’ “The Armory” located in San Francisco might simply be converted from BDSM studio/club/empire to office space and entertainment area. It seems California’s AB1576 law is attempting to place stricter health regulations on any and all adult filming, very much like L.A. County’s Measure B and Acworth let it be known he was considering a move to Nevada for fear he cannot continue his filming under such strict regulations. Acworth’s plan is to sell The Armory building for office space and its surrounding huge parking area, the 39,000 square foot ‘drill court’ as an entertainment complex.

I have been to The Armory twice and it is a massive space. That drill court alone is probably the biggest indoor parking area I have ever seen! The building where Acworth’s studio and offices are in is a multi-floored behemoth and Acworth’s reputation is as impeccable as it is infamous. He bought the space years ago for a steal when the windy city had no real idea what to do with it.

So on a positive note, Exxxotica comes round again, on a sadder note, California might be losing yet another adult business.
