Even if you have never watched “Keeping Up With The Kardashians†(I never have), haven’t an idea which one is Khloe, which one Kim, even if you weren’t alive during the 1976 Olympics, still you can’t have missed the recent speculation about Bruce Jenner or what he revealed during his last week’s interview with Diane Sawyer. It certainly is an interesting world we live in and the men and women in it are full of complexities not easily defined. Label that which is not in your everyday wheelhouse an aberration or approach life with a live-and-let live attitude (which seems to me an easier way to step through each day) and any realistic adult would have to admit that as one grows older and is exposed to more, there is certainly lots that might pass by us that falls far afield of our experience.
Though he certainly excelled at running marathon’s, Bruce Jenner will not be attending the NY FETISH MARATHON (the official URL is here) come the end of the month, but the celebration-in its 13th year presently-will offer diversity and ideas very much like Jenner is presently exposing us to and which lots of folks enjoy. Occurring in our great city of Manhattan, from May 27th – May 31st, 2015 the Marathon will include a score of fun events. I thought it my duty to listed them below:
5/27: Wednesday sees the DUNGEON X – NYFM2015 Pre-party. On 5/28: Thursday latex, lifestyle, fashion global quarterly magazine (as well as web cultural news portal) Von Gutenberg and co-sponsor Submission South Beach present the Von Gutenberg Fetish Fashion Extravaganza at 310 Bowery. Wild wardrobe dressing-up, dancing with D.J. XRIS SMACK and a performance by Raquel Reed is sure to make a spectacular party RSVP here. 5/29: Friday Mistress Ariana Chevalier will present 20 Years of Kink: Two Decades of Keeping the World Shiny And Tight And Well Disciplined @ PARTHENON, 5 West 30th St. NYC. This is surely to be an informative as well as naughty night. See more info here. 5/20: Saturday is the big SMack! 19 Year Anniversary XIX party. As with all other Smack! events this near two decades of celebration will be a see-and-be-seen scene not to be missed, featuring MASUIMI MAX, Athena Fatale, ANGELSPIT +more. The fun will be happening at Slake 251 w.30th St. NYC. Finally, on Sunday, the NYFM holds its closing party. Along the way during the weekend there will be workshops at Purple Passion @ 211 W 20th and runs to The Museum of Sex, 233 5th Ave and much more!
There truly are very few cities that enjoy such diversity as NYC and when the NY FETISH MARATHON runs through town that diversity simply enjoys the airing it deserves, in so many wonderful ways. Be part of it all the end of the month.
