Blue Point Jingle MingleWinter has finally rolled around. If the fact that it’s warm enough to wear shorts and rain showers are becoming frequent doesn’t get you into the holiday spirit, perhaps Long Island’s own Blue Point Brewing Company might. With recipes created by seafood chef extraordinaire Paula DaSilva the classic Russian Imperial stout, fermented with more than a hint of sour cherries the appropriately named Jingle Mingle is sure to not only remind one of when snow was a normal sight in December but also to quench a mighty thirst. With ABV at just upward of 11%, the party is sure to start soon after the first bottle is opened. If stouts are not your speed then the Winter Ale will keep you in good company. A balance of malt and hops makes this a tasty beverage to enjoy on a winter night. Either way Blue Point has you in good hands no matter your taste.
