With an amazing, mouth-full song title like “1981 (Or Waving At You As We Part At Light Speed Will Look Like I’m Standing Still),” it’s pretty clear that singer/songwriter Adam Arcuragi loves his words.  Turns out his music’s pretty damn good too!  A favorite at NPR’s All Things Considered, Arcuragi’s music, though often country-tinged, spans a variety of other genres, including indie rock, folk, soul, and blues.  Be sure to check out this diverse musician’s set tonight at Mercury Lounge when he is joined by the Lupine Chorale Society. Later, swing by The Meatball Shop, for some of the best balls you’ll ever sink your teeth into and let the Pete Schweddy’s Balls quotes begin!  These are some seriously good meatballs though, where you can mix-and-match types of meat and sauces for whatever kind of mood you’re in.  Also be sure to try their homemade ice cream sandwiches, also mix-and-match.  Afterward have some red, white or rose at the Bowery Wine Company.  And while in the neighborhood, swing by Tropicalia In Furs, which boasts an incredible selection of vinyl, where you might just discover your new favorite band.
