When rompers first resurged on the scene a couple years ago, I was more than doubtful. I mean.. onesies that are supposed to be stylish? Really? However, seasons have come and gone and the shirt-pants combo is still going strong despite my initial uncertainties, and I have to say, they’ve grown on me! I’m especially fond of all the spring-friendly floral styles adorning the racks lately — they’re like a playful take on the classic sundress with girly ruffles, pretty prints, and plenty of room to accessorize with jewelry, layers, and of course, shoes! While it might still be a little too chilly to rock a romper on its own, it’s also a cute spring-to-summer transition piece when topped off with a warmer cardigan or lightweight spring jacket and some cute spring wedge booties. Come summer, stock up on some strappy cork espadrilles or nude platform wedges to elongate your legs and take full advantage of those high hemlines!
