Check out DJ Rob Swift’s New Video and Radio Show Today

Turntablist god DJ Rob Swift will be releasing his fourth album The Architect on Mike Patton’s Ipecac label this February 23, which see’s him take hip hop in a new direction by blending it with classical music, a feat that’s pretty rare but with brilliant results. Here’s a sneak peak at what is to come with his first video of the song “Rabia – 2nd Movement” off the new album.

Also check out the debut of DJ Rob Swift’s online radio show Dope on Plastic on Scion Radio 17 at 10 PM tonight. Dope On Plastic is a 3-hour show that will run 24/7 and feature music that inspired Rob. Expect to hear a wide range of Jazz, Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, and Rock. He’ll also be featuring special guest DJs who’ll be spinning songs that influenced them. To check the show out, click HERE

    That's actually pretty wicked. I love it when classical music gets used in rock and Swift does a sweet job with the hip hop…gotta love Ipecac.
