Curated Cuisine at Mihoko’s 21grams

Representing the reintegration of Franco-Japonaise cuisine into modern dining, Mihoko’s 21grams is the first foray into US hospitality by the international patron of the arts and former ballerina, Mihoko Kiyokawa. The philanthropist and collector teamed up with famed designer Bruno Borrione to adorn 21grams with a fine collection of etched glass murals from the Cartier Mansion, and incredible artifacts collected by Mihoko throughout the world.

And the menu is equally, mindfully designed and derived from the essence of contemporary French fare and the lightness of Japanese cuisine.

Dip into the French palate with Mihoko’s brilliant Foie Gras, served along with sweetbreads, morels, Japanese leek and Kuro Sichimi.

Taste the hills of Provence with the signature house drink, Dentelle De Lavande- a quietly strong medley of egg white, creme de violette, lavender oleo, lemon, navy strength gin and tonic.

The only rule of the museum is to Never skip the Salmon “gravlax” dill roll, with cream cheese, shallot and an everything bagel crunch- it’s a New Yorker’s sushi dream- realized, thanks to Mihoko.
