3 Must-Have Beauty Products in 2016

Broo Shampoo2016 is here and with the new year comes the prospect of a new start. When it comes to beauty, there is an endless sea of products out there. While we all have our tried-and-trusted favorites, trying new things adds spice to life and is essential for a healthy beauty regimen. I’ve discovered a few new beauty products in 2015 that you’ve just got to test out in 2016. Here are three to get you started:

  1. BRÖÖ: Beer- Infused Haircare
Beer isn’t just for drinking. For years, it’s been used as a hair rinse for stronger, healthier hair and the fine people at BRÖÖ have perfected the formula in three different flavors: BRÖÖ Moisturizing, BRÖÖ Invigorating, and BRÖÖ Thickening. Being a fine- haired girl, I tested out the latter and I have been a BRÖÖ devotee ever since. My hair has never looked better. The only downside? If you need to have a shampoo/conditioner that has an amazingly powerful smell, this won’t be your product. It has a citrus zest but fades once you blow dry.
  2. Poo Pourri: Before-You-Go Toilet Spray
Chances are you’ve seen the hilarious Poo Pourri commercials on Youtube. At first, I didn’t think it was a real product but it does exist and is selling like hot cakes. After putting this toilet spray to the test over the entire month of December, I can personally attest to its effectiveness. For the complete rundown of how to use the product, I’ve included one of the Youtube videos below. If you’re not sure which scent to try first, go for “Party Pooper,” which sort of smells like lemon cake.
  3. Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate
Kiehl’s is my go-to for quality skincare and their Daily Reviving Concentrate has become another favorite product of mine. It keeps skin looking bright, energized, and supple with ingredients like Ginger Root, Sunflower, and Tamanu Oils. What’s more, it’s non-greasy, so shouldn’t be problematic if you have combination skin like me. Simply apply before your moisturizer and voila! You’re ready to shine.
