I’d say curvy women ruled the day down at the Curve Expo, Lingerie & Swim Show this past Tuesday.

Betsy Johnson and Oh La La Cheri were set-up on the gray carpet in the smaller Javits area, but plus-size models and fashion couture for the BBW set (and mainly there were lingerie manufacturers on hand here more than swimwear) was all the rage.

I slipped by Baci Lingerie and learned about their new, slightly more fetish styles coming out soon; enjoyed the camouflage of Wilderness Dreams; marveled at how Nu Bra  bras stayed up on a real live model, and visited a while with Lelo, Hipster G., and Suki Cohen. I also enjoyed a long demonstration from the wonderful Jackie Du of Revel Body of their unique ‘om’ influenced women’s vibrator.

Being as I literally hit the show the last of its three days, it’s hard to say how light or heavy the traffic was overall, but from what I heard it seemed the turn-out was about fair to medium for all involved.

Walking among all that lingerie, I can say without fear of contradiction that I enjoyed myself….for what it’s worth.
