A magazine/webportal like EDP knows well about what gentleman clubs are happening….and what one’s are not. Having served the adult night club industry for two decades, the reviewers who work for EDP have seen strip clubs come and go and have been reporting on the growth of the gentleman cabaret business these past twenty years. To be sure, maintaining a club like Vivid Cabaret NYC or its sister club, the world famous Rick’s Cabaret NYC, not a mere four blocks from Vivid Cabaret New York is no easy feat, especially in a city like New York. But the nominated club located at 1 W 37th St has been teaming with anybody who is anyone in the year and a half it has been open.

While I am not supporting encounters where a man or woman indeed feels emotionally raped, reporters do need (or should be) careful with what words they sling around with their obvious intention. And in the case of D. T., he does makes the presidential race a hoot and a holler. With the big money going to come down most likely for a Clinton v.s. Bush race, how could any of us think that the whole thing is anything less than a circus of Herculean proportions these days anyway? Trump is just another clown in a circus full of clowns.

# 3-Who says it isn’t an honorable profession?

This new exhibition features the World’s Largest Erotic Bicycle, something visitors can ride solo or with friends. Built in house, the bike is two stories high and has been applied to be in both Ripley’s Believe it or Not and The Guinness’ Book of World Records.

“I was drinking champagne with a bunch of celebrities, but I can’t tell you their names, because we respect everyone’s privacy,” Belinda goes on to reveal about her most recent foray up top. A red honey-haired lady with a killer smile and legs that simply will not end, like everybody else at the club Belinda is super-dooper friendly. Of course she doesn’t just restrict herself to the night time summer air (or winter, the rooftop has heaters so it is open year round) of the uppermost area of Vivid’s club. As Belinda says of one of the cabaret’s most interesting features: “I love the pole at Vivid Cabaret. It’s the tallest stripper pole in New York. Right now I can only make it up half-way, but I’m taking a pole dancing class and by the end of the summer I’ll have licked all my fears and I’ll be up there on top.

Then she adds with a wicked smile and wink: “I hope all the shortandsweet readers will come see me.”

If you have read this column before and/or have looked round the S&S site in general you might have noticed I have logged-in reviews of plenty of shows that have happened at The Kraine Theatre at 85 4th Street or “The Red Room” there, or at Horse Trades’ other theatre location ‘Under St. Marks’ at 94 St. Marks Place (btw. 1st and Ave A.) Eventually this work caught the eye of several agencies and companies and the pair soon found themselves accepting commissioned advertising work. Currently enjoying what they term a ‘perfect trifecta of fine art’-intimate portraiture, and commercial work all within the context of their sex positive philosophy-these two New York artists consider themselves incredibly fortunate and excited to have the opportunity to share their passion for sexual acceptance with the world.
