It took six years for N.A.S.A. to put together their debut album Spirit of Apollo, which featured many talented guest artists and enjoyable beats. While they are reportedly working on a follow-up album, the duo has decided to release an album of Spirit of Apollo remixes.

Although many of the remixes have already been individually released by the artists who worked on them, there are new tracks on the album as well. The new, previously unreleased tracks—“The Big Bang,” “Electric Flowers,” and “I Wanna Be Your Lover”—complete a nearly one-hour-long album.

As someone who really dug the original record, I was unenthusiastic about a record full of remixes of songs I have already listened to and enjoyed. What really brought me around though were the new tracks. I was stoked to hear Barbie Hatch, from the original album, sing on this new album’s song “Electric Flowers.”

Still, instead of a smattering of new material (or perhaps material that didn’t make it on the original album) and a bunch of remixes, I would have rather had a new product. Here’s looking to N.A.S.A.’s next release!
