Hot Fall Nail Colors: Berry, Navy, and Peridot
Sleek, metallic and juicy. All terms that work great to describe the Fall 2011 nail color trends. Can I just say that I am in love? The new colors from brands like Chanel, Essie and Dior are fantastic. They sparkle, shine and are spot on with the seasons color trends.
Move over black polish and make way for gunmetal grey from Essie in Smokin Hot ($8). It is loaded with shimmer. Orly’s Nail lacquer in Seagurl is another shiny option that is sure to sparkle. Juicy berry shades are always in fashion in the fall. Essie does it again with Carry On, a gorgeous dark shade that really punches things up.
Navy is one of the hottest colors this season without a doubt. With nails it is no different, but it isn’t all about the dark tones like OPI’s tried and true Russian Navy. Dior debuts Tuxedo, just a tad bit brighter than classic navy. It looks great on short nails that are neat and clean.
Finally, saving the best for last, is Peridot by Chanel. Always a big name in nail polishes trends Chanel has outdone themselves this season. I’ve been craving a color that reflects the wings of a beetle and Peridot is it. It contains tones of gold, green and blue and it is magnifique!
