“Get the London look†is the motto for Rimmel London and what exactly is that look?  London beauty is characterized by highlighting the eyes and no greater is this emphasis on the eyes than Rimmel’s new Volume Flash Scandaleyes mascara ($6.99). This super mascara has 3 times more collagen and keratin than other mascaras to pump up the volume of lashes. Like other boosting mascaras, Scandaleyes comes in a chunky tube that resembles an orange highlighter pen. The wand is rather large and bushy, resembling a black caterpillar, so application can be messy. This took some practice and blotting of the wand as it picks up a lot of product. My lashes looked unreal, and in a good way! Scandaleyes does away with the need for false lashes as the amount of volume and length achieved compensates for any lash shortcomings. After a couple of weeks, however, the wand and product started to clump and become goopy, so I found myself dabbing more product off than actually applying to my lashes. Rimmel Volume Flash Scandaleyes is a first rate mascara to add volume and length, but I wouldn’t use it as my daily go to but more for weekend and going out looks.
