Natural Skin Care Line Tata Harper

The natural, organic skin care business is huge right now. More companies are emerging to accommodate smarter consumers. One such company with a catchy name – Tata Harper – joined the market for “a fresh start to skin care.” The Vermont farm-based company is 100% natural and botanical, non-toxic, no parabens and no animal testing of any of its products. I started with the Regenerating Cleanser ($50, 1.7 0z) which is a cream based cleanser. It contains pomegranate, apricot seed powder, white willow bark and neroli. This product works best for someone who doesn’t wear makeup as it leaves skin soft, but I was disappointed I needed a separate cleanser to remove makeup. The Rebuilding Moisturizer ($100, 1.7 oz.) is an ideal, light weight moisturizer that leaves skin supple all day. It contains raw honey, sodium hyaluranate, rose water, aloe vera and the essential oils of linden, bergamot, rose, and geranium. Lastly, and my favorite product, I ended with the gel-like Resurfacing Mask ($55, 1 oz.). The pomegranate enzymes remove dull skin while the pink French clay cleanses and white willow exfoliates. Using this mask left my skin radiant and smooth just like after a facial. Tata Harper is a luxury, natural skin care line with pure ingredients. I describe it as luxury due to its high price point. I find that when you go 100% organic, you lose some of the potency of traditional skin care as seen with Tata Harper’s cleanser. Tata Harper is a good line for those who aren’t concerned with cost, and who probably don’t wear makeup.
