Whether you prefer to lounge or stay active over the summer, MAC’s latest Surf, Baby! collection will ensure you look spectacularly sun-kissed all season through (and longer!), no matter how much sunscreen you slather on! Boasting a series of pressed powders, bronzing sticks, lip glasses, and nail lacquers with a dominantly tawny color palette, you can’t scope out the collection without immediately starting to crave that summer golden glow… a safe, sun-free one, that is! While bronzers and golden-flecked pigments are nothing particularly ground-breaking for MAC, you have to admit — the festive surfer-inspired packaging does make it tempting, if you’re easily swayed by that sort of thing. Plus, the collection manages to punch things up and make it interesting with bold pops of color that undoubtedly look hot against bronzed skin — deep purple lipstick in Bust Out! and rich teal eyeliner in Blue Noon are some of my favorite non-gilded shades of the collection!
