Nowadays, grooming and personal hygiene are no longer as gender specific as in the past. The distinction is that men want user friendly, no fuss products. After two years of formulation and research, British line The Organic Pharmacy came out with a grooming range for men consisting of four products: shaving cream, face wash, moisturizer and a moisture gel.
The Organic Pharmacy is the nine year old innovator of the luxury organic market whose motto says: “skin care with a purpose.” I tried two of the four products: the Deep Cleansing Face Wash (2.6 oz., $39.95) and the Moisture Cream (2.6 oz., $59.95). Organic products do not come cheap and this is due to the harvesting and manufacturing process of such high quality ingredients.
The face wash is targeted to decongest, cleanse, and protect the skin leaving it feeling unpolluted without stripping it away. The primary ingredients include aloe, green tea, and seaweed with a light scent of tobacco and coffee for a masculine edge. The Moisture Cream was infused with tamanu and green tea with the same scent as the face wash. Tamanu oil is known for its regenerative tissue properties. You don’t need much of the moisturizer and upon application, it feels like it may become greasy, but within seconds, it is absorbed into the skin. Like all of The Organic Pharmacy products, they are free from preservatives, dyes, fragrance, and petrochemicals. With only four products in the line, your skincare regime doesn’t have to take extra time or space in your daily routine.
