ybf Complexion Perfection Loose Finishin Powder

ybf beauty doesn’t have the most user friendly website, but it makes up for in its solid, inexpensive products. The line was created by Stacey Shieffelin – former model and HSN executive where most of the products are actually sold. I was on the quest for a finishing powder that didn’t look matte or drying, so I tried ybf Complexion Perfection Loose Finishing Powder ($28.50). This unique powder comes in a compact with a multi-hued pinwheel design and a super soft Kabuki brush. Truthfully, at first I thought it was an eye shadow palette and I was skeptical to powder my face with color. Once I turned the compact dial to shave off an appropriate dose of powder, I was in for a surprise! The  colors play a specific role: mint to tame redness, yellow to even skin tone, lavender to attract light, peach to brighten your glow, and bronze to give you a subtle sun kissed look. I used the finishing powder at the end of makeup application and throughout the day for any touchups. Not only did I not look matte, the translucent powder didn’t tone down or conceal my makeup. The Kabuki brush is completely addicting, too. While HSN may be for a different (and older) generation, it is worth stopping by for ybf Complexion Perfection Loose Finishing Powder.
