Overalls. For the most part, they don’t have the most stylish connotation. Too dowdy, too geeky, too “retro” (and not in a good way) – could it be that our favorite 1990s style staple is actually be making a real comeback? Faux leather, floral, cropped, or traditional denim – our favorite brands and boutiques seem to be making a gallant effort to convince us that overalls really can be on-trend. And as usual, the models seem to rock them in a totally wearable way, but let’s be real – is it possible for us mere fashion mortals pull them off with the same stylish effortlessness? The time is now to give overalls a try! Throw them on over your favorite summer tanks and tees, or crop tops and bralettes, if you’re feeling gutsy!
