Sun Bum is the go to brand for protection based on quality, safety, and performance built around the surf culture. They have a variety of sun care products and I tried Sun Bum Lip Balm ($3.99, .15 oz.) to see how it fared against the brand I’ve been using for years. The flavored lip balms come in six flavors made from aloe, vitamin E, and cocoa butter with SPF 30. Even with the fun, colorful packaging, the balm goes on invisibly, which appeals to both sexes. The balm, or rather lip butter, is extremely hydrating and your lips are instantaneously transformed. I only reapplied twice in a day as it lasted all day (okay, maybe I snuck in a few extra applications because Sun Bums is addicting smooth). I’m a devotee of Sun Bum and will be ordering a case to share with friends who easily converted, too. Just beware that you may become increasingly kissable to those around you.
