Katy Perry Killer QueenSexy, Royal, and Radiant. What woman doesn’t want to be associated with these three adjectives? I recently tried Katy Perry’s Killer Queen Fragrance and it is definitely in fact royal and radiant. It has a bold smell but is still feminine. This is her third fragrance and first done in cooperation with Coty. It was called Killer Queen from the song written by Freddie Mercury. Perry told WWD, “Killer Queen has been in my vocabulary since I was 15, because of the song “Killer Queen” by Queen.” “Freddie Mercury painted the lyrics of this woman who I wanted to be. She seemed very powerful, and she captivated a room when she walked in….” Same as Katy Perry’s rebellious spirit, the fragrance is potent, edgy, and delicious as well as playful, sharp and sophisticated. The top notes in the fragrance are wild berries, dark plum and bergamot accords. The main note is Celosia, which is a velvety red flower, however there are Sambac jasmine and rainbow plumeria as well. There is a cashmere, patchouli and liquid praline base; sounds rather radiant if you ask me. The bottle represents its royalty through a shape of a red ruby that comes on its own golden pedestal.
