From a unique young lady comes a unique album. From the first song until the last, it is clear that this is more of a vocal and instrumental story than it is an album. It begins with impressive a cappella at the start of “Cocoon” and leads into “Miss You” with its excellent instrumentals and poignant lyrics (“Drowning in your sadness in this room you forgot”), then follows up later with the “Silver Lining” lyrics, “All good little psychos get to heaven in broken china cups.” These lyrics are truly poetic and really make the album stand out among others.

With her story-like album and impressive falsetto, she is in many ways the female answer to Savage Garden. Her album is an emotional journey with twists and turns, perfect for when you need a good cry, need to deal with various emotions, or just want a soundtrack to “drink the day away” as she says in “I’ve Got a Heart.” It is overall exceptional and definitely worth a listen.
