Blue Lagoon Silica Mud Mask

The Blue Lagoon is one of the most popular attractions in Iceland. The geothermal spa is rich in minerals like silica, which is the inspiration behind the Blue Lagoon skin care line.  It’s no secret that Icelandic people have gorgeous skin, so I tried the Blue Lagoon Silica Mud Mask ($100, 6.8 oz.). The white mud is creamier than traditional masks and its signature ingredient is silica. The mask is naturceutical, hypoallergenic, paraben free, fragrance free, and not tested on animals. The silica mask is applied just like a regular mud mask, and then rinsed with water. The Blue Lagoon Silica Mud Mask cleans pores, exfoliates, and leaves skin feeling extra silky smooth. This was one of the finest masks I have used, mostly because of how my skin felt after the silica treatment. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the $100 price tag for a mud mask.
