Since I grew up in Florida, I am always very concerned about being tan. Ways to get and stay tan, all without looking like Snooki, are usually on my mind. These days, I find that I don’t have the time to sit by the pool all summer long to achieve that bronzed glow that I am so used to. I regret to inform you that I have had to resort to every Florida Girl’s nightmare: getting a fake tan.

I began my quest to get the perfect fake tan but was almost immediately discouraged. I left this luxurious spa with a subtle, healthy glow, not at all the drastic, toasted look that I was expecting. My roommate even said to me when I got home, “Were you out in the sun today?”  All in all, my first fake tanning experience was a success.
